Lunar day and night are far longer than an Earth day. Air, water, medicine and transport continue through roughly fourteen days without sunlight. The order of what must never stop shapes the grid.

Air, water, medicine, communication and pressure doors come first. Food, transport, schools and work come second. Heavy processing and movable leisure loads come third. When supply falls, lower-priority work rests before the city goes dark.

Storage overlaps with steady long-duration generation. Different sources are not competing for elegance; their weaknesses must not fail for the same reason.

Computing, lamps, fermenters and human bodies release heat. Because rejecting heat is itself work, the city first passes it to water, drying processes and growing rooms. Energy finished as electricity still has value as temperature.
