Homes face a street.

Residential blocks connect to schools, clinics, laundries, shared kitchens and quiet planted gardens through short walkways. A corridor is more than an evacuation route; it is a neighbourhood street where people meet.

SURFACE / INDUSTRY

Heavy work stays near the Sun.

Mining, refining, solar generation and first-stage material processing occupy dedicated surface zones. Remote operations keep long-duration human work to a minimum and the underground city quiet and maintainable.

ORBIT / TRANSPORT

The Moon is not an isolated terminus.

The cislunar station transfers passengers, research cargo and lunar materials. Arrivals can move from the spaceport into the underground city without crossing the hostile surface environment.

Marius Arc is not a single oversized facility. Everyday life stays local while transit, logistics and emergency routes are shared across the city.

ARC–01 to 18 occupy several depths below the lunar surface. Shafts and ring transit connect surface systems, primary habitation and deep reserves; ARC–19 is the surface gateway between the spaceport and the underground city. Retained-rock buffer zones separate the functional layers, carrying only monitoring galleries, utilities, lifts and emergency routes. These transition layers provide transfer, structural stability and pressure-zone isolation; they are not missing intervals. Primary habitation lies 520–700 m below the surface.
